drama at 12 today but arranged to meet belle at 11 to play bridge so i left home earlier.
SOOO tempted to take a cab! BUT. for the sake of my dear poddy, i took public transport instead. 6 stops to paya lebar, then 154 to HCI. i dozed off briefly on the bus =X it was super hot btw.

OH AND GUESS WHAT.

DEBORAH THE GENIUS DECIDED TO GET SOME EXERCISE AND GOT DOWN ONE BUS STOP EARLY.

it wasnt intentional:\ stupid la.

i was hungry after that so i went to buy cup noodles. ate with belle. no bridge after all, since we discounted the fact that there were only the two of us.

drama prac started slightly after 12.
it was okay la, missing a few ppl, incl our dead body, but ohwell(:

after that decided to go out:)
went to The Cathay with ros. zp, ziyan etc all didnt want to come out, and the rest werent free. ohwell. the cathay is boring i tell you. after buying the 1500hrs tickets for The Sinking Of Japan, it was 2.15pm. we walked all over the place and by the time we were done, it was 2.50pm:\ thats how empty the place was.

lets see. groundfloor: newurbanmale. we went in cos ros needed flipflops and there was some poster saying if you spent more than $20 and presented the receipt or smth you'd get a $5 movie ticket. haha.
cute shirts! ELMO! there were tiny shirts for small kids. wanted to get for my sis, but guess what it cost a frigging $40. no way was i gonna spend tt kind of money. PODDY!!! but rah so cute): cookie monster!!! :D

lets see. third floor: ben and jerry's. they dont even have macs:\ i got chocolate fudge haha. $4.50. ohwell. went up to the 5th floor and got sour and cream Lays.
went in - first thing i saw was a whole row of HCI guys:\\ JC i think. ohwell.

SINKING OF JAPAN
im a sucker for sci-fi showsX)
day after tmr, the core... :D:D

hmm. it was in jap. had subtitles of course.

less emotion-packed than wtc, but definitely more action. as in. all the volcanic eruptions, tsnamis(those were REALLY scary; imagine one giant wave towering above you) and earthquakes.

the lying of the govt to calm the ppl down; but i think it was wrong:\ how can you tell your country that its gonna sink in 5 years when it'll sink in less than a year? big diff leh.

the pain of sacrifice.
honestly, how many of us will be brave and patriotic enough to sacrifice for our country and leave our loved ones behind? or for that matter, sacrifice ourselves so that they might have a larger chance of surviving?
when it all boils down to it, i dont think there'll be alot of people left):

Thank God singapore doesnt have any volcanoes or lies on any fault or anything. it was freaky, watching soj. like. you see your country sinking before you, see your fellow countrymen dying right in front of your eyes, but its all happening too fast for you to do anything.
overwhelming sadness and grief.

why is it that the officials get to leave first, leaving their fellow countrymen dying behind? does man really possess such a heart of steel? to leave ur loved ones to save them; thats a reasonable enough reason, but so that you get to save your own hide?

ohmy. i really DO have the memory of a goldfish=X
i cant remb anything about it alr. RAH.

dont mind watching again though. ahaha. im such a sadist:)
